Melissa Suzanne George from Australia is an actress, model and inventor. After beginning her career back home in Australia, she made it to Hollywood which was where she achieved great results. A native of the city of Perth George began her journey in dancing and artistic roller skating. As she entered her teens, she began modeling. In 1992, she won the Western Australian Teenage Model. Her screen debut came that year with the episode from Seven Network s soap opera Home and Away . The big screen debut came on Dark City, a mystery thriller. Then she played a variety of supporting roles on projects such as Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005, she made her first major Hollywood appearance in The Amityville Horror remake. At present she is one of the most popular Australian ex-pats in the American entertainment industry.
