
Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on the 19th of January, 2008. She was an American film voice actress, voice actor and television host. 1. Pleshette began her career in the theatre and started appearing in films in the late 1950s. Later, she was featured in films of note like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). She later appeared in various television shows, usually in guest roles. She also was Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978, earning several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January 1937, in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1] and Eugene Pleshette. Her parents were Jewish, children of immigrants from Russia or Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer.
